General
You must be 18 years of age or older, have a valid credit
card, and reside in the United States to obtain a subscription from RentZero.
RentZero reserves the right to reject submissions that are in violation
of this policy, or any incomplete or illegal submissions. RentZero reserves
the right to change this rental policy at any time, without notice.
Billing Cycle
Your credit card will be charged monthly on the anniversary
day of your first billing. For example, if you sign on January 1st for
a monthly subscription, you will be billed on the 1st of each subsequent
month (February 1st, March 1st, etc). Subscriptions initiated on the 29th,
30th, or 31st day of a month may be charged on the last day of a subsequent
month that does not have a corresponding date. For example, if you sign-up
on January 31st for a monthly subscription, you will be billed on the
28th of February, the 31st of March, the 30th of April, etc.
Refunds and Credits
Refunds or credits will be considered on a case-by-case
basis. No refunds will be issued for any remaining time left on your subscription
in the case of a subscription cancellation (see Canceling Your Subscription
below). If you have any questions or complaints regarding your billing,

Taxes
Applicable sales tax will be charged to your monthly
billing for subscribers with a billing/shipping address within the State
of Texas.
Subscriptions
Free Trial Subscriptions
The two week free trial starts the same day you sign
up. You will be charged your monthly membership fee exactly 2 weeks after
you sign up, unless you cancel your membership prior to your first month's
subscription fee due date. At signup we will authorize your credit card(not
a charge) for the monthly amount. This is to insure the credit card is
valid and has the funds to pay for the monthly service. This reduces the
cardholder's open-to-buy (credit card limit), but does not actually capture
the funds. The cardholder's open-to-buy is typically cleared in 5 to 7
days(this amount of time is dependant on the particular bank). We will
not bill you until after the two week free trial. Failure to cancel your
free trial prior to being charged for your first month's rental is non-refundable.
If you decide to cancel your subscription before your first month's subscription
fee, then you must return your games immediately.(see canceling subscriptions
below). Your free trial includes shipping of one
game only. This gives you a chance to check out the high quality
of our service. Free trial customers are responsible for all lost games(see
lost games below)sent to their address. Free trial
customer's games are sent via USPS with delivery confirmation. This is
proof that games are delivered to your address. Therefore, games are never
lost being sent to free trial customers. We expect all games that are
rented by free trial customers will be returned successfully to our address
without exception. Free trial customers are responsible for any
games lost being returned to RentZero, Inc. There is no roundtrip rentals
with the two week free trial. If you return your game before your trial
ends, then new games will not be shipped until you have a paid subscription
plan. Any upgrades during your free trial will result in a charge to your
credit card for the new subscription plan. You can start your full membership
before the end of the free trial simply by emailing support@rentzero.com
and requesting to have your full membership activated.
New subscriptions
When signing up for a new subscription, RentZero, Inc
reserves the right to authorize your credit card for $50 per game rented.
This reduces the cardholder's open-to-buy (credit card limit), but does
not actually capture the funds. The cardholder's open-to-buy is typically
cleared in 5 to 7 days(this amount of time is dependant on the particular
bank). This is to show that the new customer has the ability to pay for
lost, damaged, or unreturned games. To prevent fraud, we use delivery
confirmation all new subscriptions. This will be proof that the games
arrived at your address. Therefore, new customers using our free trial
are allowed zero lost games(see lost games below). The authorization will
only be turned into a sale if the games are damaged by the customer, lost
by the customer, or not returned by the customer(see damaged or lost games
below).
Subscription Upgrades or Downgrades
You can always change the subscription level of your
account by clicking the My Account section of the website then click on
"Change my membership level". The new billing charge will take
effect on your next billing date unless you are currently in the middle
of your free trial, in which case you will be charged immediately. Your
subscription level will be upgraded or downgraded immediately.
Canceling Your Subscription
You can cancel your subscription at any time by sending
us an email at support@rentzero.com
or by accessing the cancellation link on the My Account section of the
website.
A cancellation confirmation will be sent to you via
e-mail. Your account is not considered completely terminated until the
last outstanding game is received by RentZero, Inc. You are responsible
for ongoing monthly charges until your last outstanding game is received
by RentZero, Inc. No refunds will be issued for any remaining time left
on your subscription. All outstanding games must be postmarked within
3 days of cancellation. Failure to have the games postmarked by the date
stated will result in a $50 charge per game to your account. All games
must be received by RentZero, Inc within 10 days of cancellation or RentZero,
Inc will charge you $50 for all unreturned games. This leaves ample time
for lost mail to be "returned to sender" by the USPS. Any charges
that are incurred before a lost item is received by RentZero, Inc and
it displays a postmark within your time limit will be given a refund if
the game is in working condition.
YOU MUST CANCEL PRIOR TO THE END OF YOUR FREE TRIAL OFFER TO AVOID CHARGES
TO YOUR CREDIT CARD.
Please return any games you are currently holding immediately.
We allow a ten day grace period for the games to arrive in our offices.
If we have not received these games by the end of this period, we will
charge your credit card of record for the full retail price of these games.
You will receive a confirmation email when the games have arrived safely.
SHIPPING THESE GAMES IS SOLELY YOUR RESPONSIBILITY
AND AT YOUR OWN RISK. WE RECOMMEND THAT YOU USE THE UNITED STATES POST
OFFICE'S CERTIFICATE OF MAILING (additional $0.75 per package). UNLESS
YOU HAVE VERIFIABLE PROOF, YOU WILL BE FULLY LIABLE SHOULD THESE GAMES
NOT ARRIVE BEFORE THE GRACE PERIOD IS OVER.
Damaged Games
Please report any damaged games to support@rentzero.com.
If a game has been damaged, RentZero reserves the right
to charge your credit card account $50 for the damaged game if we find
you were at fault. If the game was damaged in the mail, then you must
return the game to RentZero, Inc immediately. A new game will be sent
out to you once we receive the damaged game. You are not responsible if
the game was damaged in the mail. If many items are being damaged that
are mailed to your address, then RentZero reserves the right to cancel
or suspend your account at any time without notice.
Lost Games
Please report any lost games to support@rentzero.com.
A game will be considered lost by the USPS if it has
taken more than 10 days and the game has not arrived and you are a paying
customer. Customers on a free trial are allowed zero lost games. If an
account is not under suspension and you are a paying customer, additional
games in your queue will be sent immediately. Each paying customer is
only allowed one lost game.
A paying customer will be charged for lost games after
the limit of 1 is exceeded. A free trial customer will be charged for
all lost games. Games are considered completely lost if they have not
been delivered to your address or "returned to sender" by the
USPS in 21 days after they were sent to the customer. Refunds can be given
at our discretion if the games are eventually returned and the game is
in working condition.
Once you exceed your limit of lost games, then your
account will be placed under suspension pending the return of games "returned
to sender" by the USPS. If the game does not arrive at RentZero or
the paying customer's address within 21 days after they were sent to the
customer, then the customer shall be responsible for the $50 fee incurred
per game. Once you have exceed you lost game limit and the game has been
declared permanently lost, then your account will be permanently cancelled.
If a game is accidently lost by a customer, you will
be charged the $50.00 replacement fee and your next game in your queue
will be shipped to you immediately. This type of loss does not count against
you in any way.
The replacement fee is $50.00 per game.
